Madame Web is a decent, action-packed Spider-Verse movie that will satisfy both old Marvel fans and newcomers alike.
The Top Three Best Things About the Movie
#1. Interesting Plot
Despite what critics say, Madame Web has a new, refreshing plot that is nice to see from Marvel. I went in expecting a slightly boring, generic plot, and I went out happy with it! It wasn’t the best movie ever, but it was surprisingly good!
#2. New Characters
Madame Web introduced multiple new characters that will be exciting to see in upcoming movies.
#3. Concise
While Madame Web wasn’t short, clocking in at around two hours, it didn’t feel like it dragged on. In some Marvel movies, I’ve been waiting for them to end, but this one felt like it was well done.
Age Rating: 12 and Up
Violence:
Gun fights, people bit by spiders, car crashes, extended action sequences, buildings breaking, houses burning, a woman dying while giving birth, but her baby survives, and nothing graphic is shown.
Language:
General use of cuss words like the A word, D word, B word, and God’s name in vain.
Sexual Content:
In one scene where a man and a woman are shown waking up in bed in underwear, while sex is implied, nothing is shown aside from that scene. That scene is not important, and it is not referenced at all during the movie.
