Once again, I found myself in a theater, watching a movie with little to no plot, bad acting, and unlikeable characters—yet, I totally loved it. This film is akin in quality to Ghostbusters: Frozen Kingdom Christian Review, boasting great CGI and bad acting. It seems that lately, Warner Bros. has been more concerned with special effects instead of the good ol’ human effects. I saw this just a few minutes after watching Dune: Part Two, so honestly, I was happy for a mental break to watch some classic monster movie garbage.
This time, I was prepared and read some reviews of the latest kaiju movie before deciding to see it, so I wasn’t surprised when 97% of the movie consisted of fighting. The selling point of the movie is seeing Godzilla and Kong completely wreck stuff, together for a change. While yes, we get to see this, it’s not until about the halfway point. The movie starts off slowly but gradually picks up pace until a pure action finale.
